Job Summary
MEP Data Center Construction Project Manager responsible for delivering data center projects on time and within budget. Lead contractors and vendors, manage project schedules, change orders, budgets, and RFPs, and ensure adherence to company design standards. Responsibilities include liaison with contractors, coordinating multiple project facets, producing project plans, and driving value-engineering across Built-to-Suit initiatives. Requires strong organization, back-office management, and client-facing communication. Travel weekly to project sites; familiarity with building systems design for data centers; proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD. Located in Chesterton, IN with weekly site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor
- Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Travel weekly to project sites
- Client-facing / client relationship / client management skills
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, Oracle Primavera P6, AutoCAD a plus
