Job Summary
Data Center MEP Construction Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of critical facilities construction projects in Lubbock, TX. Lead and coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while meeting company design standards. Manage schedules, change orders, budgets, and back-office documentation; drive value-engineering; represent the client in project meetings; maintain logs and reports; maintain vendor relations and oversee design-process alignment with data-center systems. Requires strong organization, communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and familiarity with design/engineering/construction processes for mission-critical facilities. Travel is very limited; relocation is preferred for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Minimum 3 to 8+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
- Very limited travel
- Preference will be for relo candidates
