Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager responsible for leading data center build projects, coordinating contractors and vendors, and ensuring delivery on time and budget while upholding Company Design Standards. Duties include creating and managing project plans, schedules, change orders, coordinating RFPs, driving value-engineering, managing financial aspects of contracts, maintaining logs, and representing the company in project meetings. Requires deep experience with data-center/critical-facilities design and construction, strong client-facing skills, travel up to ~50%, and proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Previous DC Construction projects supporting Hyperscale level Power 100MW and above
- Minimum of 3 to 8+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Willingness to travel to project site
- 50% Travel Required
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
