Job Summary
Data Center MEP Construction Project Manager responsible for leading data center construction projects, coordinating with MEP subs, contractors and vendors, managing schedules and budgets, handling change orders and RFPs, and delivering built-to-suit projects with value engineering while upholding company design standards; requires strong organization, back-office discipline, and client-facing project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Previous experience moving up the ranks in the Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Trades (MEP)
- Previous DC Construction projects supporting either Colo or Hyperscale Companies
- Minimum of 3 to 7+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience a plus
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Travel 25-50%
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
