Job Summary
Menu Development and Compliance Dietitian Nutritionist develops and maintains menus for Open Hand Atlanta’s Medically Tailored Meal and Grocery programs, analyzes recipes for nutritional content using Genesis Nutrition Analysis and Genesis R&D Software, ensures compliance with state/federal regulations, conducts quality audits with the Quality Team, improves product variety and yields, and communicates with Operations staff to drive continuous quality improvements. Responsibilities include recipe analysis and development based on standards, conditions, allergies, and cultural/personal preferences, collaboration on product changes based on client feedback and contractual criteria, and maintaining documentation related to menu and quality metrics. Requires a B.S. in Dietetics or related field (ACEND accredited), Georgia licensure, and RD credentialing; MS preferred; ServSafe/HACCP/PCQI desirable. Residency in Georgia is required.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Dietetics or related field of study from ACEND accredited program
- Credentialing as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed Dietitian, State of Georgia
- ServSafe®, HACCP and PCQI certification desirable
