Job Summary
Coordinate the TTG mentor program by recruiting, training, and supporting mentors while matching them with newly hired staff based on program guidelines. Monitor mentoring relationships, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure activities align with organizational policies and competency requirements. Develop training materials, deliver orientation sessions, and track participant progress and program milestones. Collaborate with supervisors, Program Directors, and the Professional Development Division to support employee onboarding, engagement, and retention. Prepare reports on mentoring outcomes, workforce development initiatives, and program effectiveness for leadership review. Participate in statewide meetings and cross-functional committees to advance organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience in Child Protective Services or child welfare
- Three (3) years of experience in employee development, training, organizational development, coaching, mentoring, human resources, or program management
- Experience facilitating training or group learning sessions
- Experience providing coaching, mentoring, supervision, or staff development
- Knowledge of Child Protective Services policies, procedures, and practice
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and employee development
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to facilitate training and presentations
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency information systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of employee onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and adult learning principles
- Knowledge of organizational development and workforce engagement strategies
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to coach employees and provide constructive feedback
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collect, interpret, and present workforce data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, LMS, and project management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all organizational levels
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practices
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a CPS Mentor or similar coaching credential a plus
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
