Job Summary
Mentor role in Salvation Army Employment Plus Parent Pathways Hunter program. You’ll provide hands-on support to empower parents to overcome barriers to education and employment, build meaningful relationships with participants, and collaborate with community partners. Responsibilities include one-on-one coaching, guiding participants through goal setting and navigation of support services, delivering customer-focused mentorship, tracking progress toward KPI targets, and ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines and policies. Travel across diverse locations within the Sydney greater west region to deepen program knowledge and extend participant reach, while working independently and as part of a team to drive meaningful outcomes for families. Must hold a Certificate III qualification (or equivalent) in Employment Services, Community Services, or related areas, have a valid driver’s licence, and WWCC/Police checks. Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Certificate III qualification in Employment Services, Community Services or other relevant areas
- Driver’s licence
- Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent (or willingness to apply)
- Police check (mandatory)
