Job Summary
Conduct regular classroom observations and follow-up conferences with beginning teachers to address problems regarding teaching techniques, classroom management, and student relationships. Assist new educators in identifying professional goals and objectives while supporting their self-evaluation processes. Participate in monthly support team meetings and maintain a log book to document assigned responsibilities. Provide ongoing assistance to resolve issues for interns at the same programmatic level within the same building. Complete required training program participation as part of the formal beginning teacher assistance program.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) Years Teaching Experience
- Must Participate In Training Program
- Master's Degree And/Or Previous Advanced Training In Teacher Effectiveness
- Willingness To Assist New Teachers
- Perform Assigned Responsibilities Such As: Regular Observations/Conferences
- Attendance At Monthly Support Team Meetings
- Completion Of A Log Book
- Ongoing Support And Assistance To New Employee
- Same Programmatic Level As Intern
- Same Building Location If Possible
