Job Summary
Provide personalised support and act as a social role model to help participants enhance independence in AMS-operated accommodations, homes, and the community. Assist individuals with daily living skills, social activities, and pathways to education and employment while implementing Individual Support Plans and Behaviour Support Plans tailored to each participant's needs. Engage in social and recreational activities to foster meaningful relationships and social networks. Work within a 24/7 rotating roster including overnight shifts and weekends, maintaining flexibility for shifts from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence
- Access to a car
- NDIS Worker Check
- First Aid Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Experience in Mental Health, Disability, Youth Work, or a related field
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Mediation skills
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 rotating roster
- Availability for overnight shifts
- Availability for weekends
