Job Summary
Provide high-quality support and care to participants across SIL houses and community access shifts in Brisbane, including 1:1 or 1:2 support across 24/7 rosters. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, ensuring safety and well-being, implementing behavior management for behaviors of concern involving physical harm, engaging participants in meaningful activities to promote independence, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Requires Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, current Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Skills include compassion, patience, empathy, strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Compensation is a competitive casual pay rate of $36.23 per hour plus penalty rates, with comprehensive training and development opportunities.
