Job Summary
Mental Health Worker responsible for supervising and facilitating residential programming for youth in treatment. Duties include implementing trauma-informed treatment programming, maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu, supervising daily activities and youth, completing timely documentation, serving as a liaison to families and agencies, supporting therapeutic procedures, designing psycho-educational groups to increase clients' knowledge and skills, and upholding program values such as empathy, integrity, and teamwork. Requires strong communication, compassion, boundaries, and the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification; salary range starts at $19.21–$21.62/hour depending on education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.
- Willingness to obtain certification in First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention.
