Job Summary
Observe and record patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, reporting this data to the Staff Registered Nurse. Physically assist patients and skillfully deal with patient emergencies while working collaboratively as a dedicated member of a multidisciplinary clinical team. Demonstrate good judgement in handling situations not covered by written or verbal instructions and seek guidance when unsure. Complete work within an acceptable time frame, avoiding incidental overtime, while ensuring accuracy and completeness in all job tasks. Maintain accurate and timely documentation even during periods of increased workload and high stress.
Required Qualifications
- High School GED General Studies
- 2 years of acute psychiatric care experience
- Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS Cert)
