Job Summary
Responsible for the well being and safety of children with SED diagnosis, providing supervision and assisting with activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and social skill building. Leads developmentally appropriate recreational activities and initiates interventions per care plans. Communicates effectively with family members and prepares documentation of interactions with children. Must meet with the Program Director regularly and participate in mandatory trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or certified GED
- Able to pass a criminal background check under state regulations
- Have reliable transportation to and from the respite center
