Job Summary
Night Mental Health Worker position at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR). Provide a safe, calm, and supportive overnight environment for youth; perform bed checks every 15–30 minutes; maintain a clean lodge office, assist with laundry/linens; engage with youth, document and file records, and participate in monthly coaching/supervision. Requires empathy, reliability, calmness under pressure, strong communication and observation skills, and adherence to safety standards; offers ongoing training and opportunities for advancement. Shift focus is overnight, contributing to safety, stability, and healing for youth in a residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a criminal background and child abuse registry check (Montana)
- Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention certification
