Job Summary
Oversee clients’ adherence to program guidelines; communicate with persons served; provide rehabilitation groups; assist in crisis intervention; escort clients to groups and record participation; facilitate groups and activities; lead MHW discussions and daily community meeting; track client participation on a calendar and log into the medical record; ensure forms are completed properly and timely; document interventions in the medical record; report changes in behavior to the charge nurse and Program Counselor.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months job experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents
- Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace
