Job Summary
Provides assistance and care for patients with psychiatric and physical needs, gathers and reports observational data, assists with daily living activities, and monitors patient conditions. Builds confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication while adhering to privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements. Performs tasks in a part-time, non-exempt role with nights and variable weekend coverage, utilizing clinical knowledge, EHR systems, and teamwork to support comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Knowledge of mental health principles and treatment approaches
- Ability to interpret data and instructions
- Proficiency with computer applications and EHR
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
