Job Summary
Implement the College's philosophy and curriculum through clinical teaching, direct supervision, and evaluation of nursing students delivering care. Plan clinical experiences, develop written assignments, and provide documented feedback based on course objectives. Orient students to agency policies, correct homework and clinical paperwork, and offer remediation as required. Contribute to program development, assessment efforts, and retention initiatives while serving as a professional role model. Report to the dean, assistant dean, or course coordinator. Compensation ranges from $560 to $7,245 per assignment.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in West Virginia
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
