Job Summary
Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities tailored to client needs across all levels of care in the Virginia region. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment plans while collaborating with clients, families, and the clinical team. Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation compliant with organizational and insurance standards. Participate in utilization reviews regarding medical necessity and coordinate with families to align on treatment goals. Contribute to program development, performance improvement initiatives, and family programming while fostering team collaboration. Represent the organization positively with families, referral sources, and community partners. Full-time variable schedule requiring evening and weekend availability; compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 based on licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Travel to Sandstone Care's Virginia Facilities
- Full Time | Variable Schedule - Evening and Weekend Availability
- Valid driver's License
- Clean driving history
- A master's degree in behavioral health science (Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field)
- An active license in the state of VA in good standing
- LPC / LCSW / LMFT / Resident in Counseling / Supervisee in Social Work / Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy
- A minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience with clients from the age of 13 – 30 in a detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) setting
- A proven ability to manage diverse caseloads while maintaining a high standard of care
- Passing a comprehensive background check, encompassing criminal records and motor vehicle reports
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification
- The ability to obtain CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment
- Clinical licensure (outside of VA state)
