Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family therapy across Sandstone Care facilities in the Maryland and Virginia region. Lead therapy sessions, develop and monitor evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the clinical team, and ensure accurate documentation in line with organizational and insurance standards. Participate in utilization reviews and medical-necessity discussions with insurance providers as needed. Coordinate with families to align on treatment goals and progress; contribute to program development and cross-team collaboration; represent the organization positively to families, referral sources, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral health science (Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field)
- Active license in the state of VA in good standing (LPC / LCSW / LMFT or related clinical licensure)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with clients aged 13-30 in detox/Residential/PHP/IOP settings
- Valid driver's license and ability to commute between locations in assigned region
- CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Background check including criminal records and motor vehicle report
