Mental Health Therapist (School-Based)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments using standardized tools to determine client needs and appropriate interventions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary treatment team. Deliver therapeutic interventions for anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders through individual, group, and family sessions. Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans within established timeframes. Provide immediate crisis intervention, develop safety plans, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary. Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progress and adjust strategies. Engage in community outreach to promote services, connect individuals with additional resources, and attract new referrals. Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Registered Intern (RMHCI)
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
- Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice (LISW-CP)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Supervisor (LMFT-S)
- Minimum of one year experience working with children and/or families
