Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based practices to support clients with mental health and addiction challenges. Deliver co-occurring group therapy sessions focusing on psychoeducation and skills-based interventions while collaborating on medication management. Maintain accurate documentation and billing in compliance with MN Statutes Chapter 245I, and participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to review client progress. Facilitate crisis interventions to ensure client safety and uphold ethical standards and federal regulations. Requires current MN licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP), a master's degree in behavioral sciences, and at least one year of substance-free sobriety.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related field
- Current MN state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (LP) – in good standing
- Ability to learn new technology while gaining proficiency in EMR/EHRs
- At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances
- Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and leadership

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations

- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time
