Job Summary
Therapist conducts culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families; provides outpatient individual and family therapy; develops crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans; participates in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensures timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and dietitians; carries a Master’s degree in a relevant field with licensure requirements and ongoing professional development; comprehensive onboarding and ongoing educational resources are provided; base compensation range is presented as wage per billable unit with details to be determined by licensure and market factors; New Directions Mental Health and Transformations Care Network emphasize equal opportunity and inclusive practices.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- If required, provisional license per state regulation.
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
- Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including free supervision and continuing education.
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
