Job Summary
Mental Health Therapist provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with treatment teams. Provides individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and develops treatment plans. Supports program development, policy/procedure development, and adherence to WACs/RCWs. Duties include maintaining patient records, coordinating with psychiatrists, providing crisis intervention, and delivering group and individual therapy within a Sea Mar community health setting; requires a Master’s degree in psychology/counseling/social work, licensure in WA, 4+ years of experience, and adherence to confidentiality and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work; active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or Mental Health Associate License; four or more years’ experience; TB test; BLS CPR within 90 days; annual influenza vaccine; ability to pass background check; ability to meet MHP criteria; ability to work with diverse populations.
