Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with treatment teams; delivers individual and group counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning; coordinates with medication providers and primary care physicians; serves patients including those with chronic illness or high utilization, adheres to relevant WACs/RCWs and clinical contracts, and may provide clinical supervision and chart reviews; requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work and an active WA license, plus 4+ years of clinical experience and BLS CPR within 90 days of hire; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes course-work in psychological diagnostics
- Four or more years of clinical experience in the field
- Must possess an active license from the Washington State Department of Health as Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker
- Must maintain active license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment
- TB test annually and at time of hire
