Mental Health Therapist (Licensed)

Develop patient-centered therapy interventions using group, individual, and family approaches to assist patients in meeting identified goals. Collaboratively develop treatment plans with input from patients, families, and the treatment team while utilizing the electronic medical record to document screenings, assessments, and progress. Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, actively participate in staff meetings, and assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes. Monitor patient progress toward goals, address termination or discharge issues, and provide outside referrals as appropriate. Assist in developing clinical procedures, advocate for patient access to community resources, and demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues. Full-time and part-time roles available Monday through Friday in Chesapeake, VA.
