Job Summary
Mental Health Therapist III provides diagnostic assessments, coordinates with psychiatric services, conducts case management, offers individual counseling, crisis stabilization, and suicide risk assessment; develops and monitors treatment plans, and collaborates with the program manager to ensure compliance with WACs/RCWs and administrative duties. Requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, plus four or more years of experience and an active Washington license (Agency Affiliated Counselor or equivalent), TB test, BLS CPR, and influenza vaccination; position located in Vancouver, WA, and involves in-person clinical duties with potential for extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes course-work in psychological diagnostics
- Four or more years’ experience in the field
- Active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License (including MHP)
- Must pass background check
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain
- Annual influenza vaccine requirement
