Job Summary
Mental Health Therapist III provides diagnostic assessments and a range of clinical services in Sea Mar’s Behavioral Health Clinic. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care with psychiatrists and other providers, delivering individual counseling, crisis stabilization, and risk assessments (including suicide risk assessment), and providing case management and referrals. The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, and active WA licenses in a mental health field, with four or more years of clinical experience. The position supports hybrid work arrangements with Program Manager approval and is based in Tumwater, WA, within a federally qualified health center focused on Latino communities in Washington State.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License
- Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics
- Four or more years of clinical experience in the field
- The Licensed Mental Health provider must possess an active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health at all times
- Must meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP)
