Job Summary
Conduct outpatient therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based practices in weekly or bi-weekly counseling sessions. Maintain a caseload of 30 clients while submitting documentation within 24 hours and completing mental health assessments as needed. Manage symptom management, interpersonal processes, and psychotherapeutic recreation to support whole-person health outcomes and avoid acute care situations. Coordinate services with primary care providers and make referrals for substance use disorder or neuropsychological services. Communicate regularly with supervisors to report therapeutic interventions and actively participate in weekly team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Associates license or fully licensed and certified through the Washington State Department of Health to provide direct client care as a LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, or LICSWA
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, per agency standards
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, per agency standards
- New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver's License within 30 days of employment
