Job Summary
Clinical role providing a wide array of culturally sensitive, recovery-oriented mental health services for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, individual and group therapy, service coordination, documentation (intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries), and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field and licensure or licensure-in-training with ability to obtain within 4 weeks; knowledge of substance use treatment, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices; strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and organizational skills. May involve evening or weekend hours and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health related discipline
- Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor In Training (LPC-IT) or Marriage and Family Therapist In Training (MFT-IT) or ability to obtain licensure within 4 weeks of hire
- Knowledge or experience related to substance use disorder treatment
- Commitment to work toward improving cultural sensitivity
- Knowledge and/or experience with evidence-based practices for treatment of mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and remain organized
- Background checks required
