Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments and create person-centered treatment plans for clients presenting with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and supportive services while continually assessing client situations to ensure proper ongoing treatments. Prepare discharge summaries and complete all other clinical tasks as assigned. Maintain a calm demeanor under stress in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and communicating effectively with diverse populations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Counseling with two years of direct-care experience, plus mandatory background checks and clearance certificates.
Required Qualifications
- Must show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses
- 2-Step PPD
- PA State Background Check
- ChildLine Abuse Clearance
- FBI Background Check
- Mandated reporter certificate
