Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary
Provide outpatient mental health treatment and services to patients in the clinic setting, including interaction with provider agencies and referral sources. Participate in team meetings as requested and offer education and support to the community. Transport clients to organization-sponsored services or resources, requiring a valid driver's license and appropriate insurance for personal vehicles. Maintain licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with at least two years of clinical experience. This role supports Blue Ridge Health's mission to improve health and advance healing through access to compassionate care within Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
- Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
- Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
- Must be age 21 or greater
- Certificate of insurance demonstrating at least the minimum required NC auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years clinical work experience preferred
- LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
- Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Bilingual a plus
