Job Summary
Monitor and observe patient behavior to ensure safety, assist with daily activities like hygiene and meals, and provide one-to-one observation as assigned. Intervene in behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques, assist clinical staff during emergencies, and monitor patients under special precautions. Accurately document patient behaviors, activities, and incidents while communicating observations to nursing and clinical staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe unit environment, support daily routines, and co-facilitate group activities as directed. Work mornings in the Crisis Stabilization Unit, with weekends required for some roles, in Delray Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely manage and de-escalate behavioral situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services
- Knowledge of mental health conditions and crisis intervention techniques
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- Experience in acute care or crisis stabilization settings
- CPR/BLS Certification
