Job Summary
Mental Health Technician providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Works with individuals in community, vocational, or in-home settings, coordinating with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities (socialization, personal care, housekeeping, transportation, recreation, community integration, shopping, citizenship), documenting progress, and potentially accompanying individuals to medical appointments. Travel between sites and to homes may be required. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years of age, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a level one fingerprint card, and strong communication and compassionate patient-care skills. Full-time role on Sun–Thu, 7a–3p at Keim Group Home near 19th Ave & Glendale, Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Able to obtain a level one fingerprint card
- States may have additional requirements
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
