Job Summary
Provide direct support to clients by assisting with daily activities and maintaining a structured environment. Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments while monitoring behavior, documenting observations, and collaborating with clinical teams. Oversee medication self-administration with nursing staff and lead recovery-focused group sessions. Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities, adhering to safety protocols, conducting drills, and responding to crises as needed. Work all shifts including morning, swing, and night rotations in a 32-40 hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
- Valid Driver's License
- Must meet car insurance eligibility requirements
- Minimum of 23 years old
- At least 4 years of licensed experience
- No driving infractions within last 4 years
- Ability to work on a computer
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to navigate stairs
- Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
- Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Must be available for Morning Hours (6:30am-3:00pm)
- Must be available for Swing Hours (2:30pm-11:00pm)
- Must be available for Night Hours (11:00pm-7:00am)
- Must work 32-40 hours
