Job Summary
Mental Health Technician in a Psychiatric IP Unit provides delegated nursing care to adult/geriatric/medical psychiatric patients under physician and treatment team guidance, adhering to unit/hospital policies and applicable standards. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, participating in therapeutic milieu activities, contributing to quality care improvements, and complying with patient safety and privacy regulations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; BLS certification; CPI training within first month; CNA certification preferred. Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call; strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient in basic computer and software use. The role is based in Monroe, Louisiana, with on-site/offices as applicable, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
