Job Summary
Provides direct and indirect care under the supervision of an RN for patients in a Behavioral Medical Unit, performing psychosocial interventions, assisting with ADLs, and participating in therapeutic groups. Helps with data collection, care planning and documentation, supports patient and family education, and assists nursing staff with clerical duties and chart preparation. Requires a high school education or equivalent and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A and BLS certifications; CNA is preferred. Per diem, night-shift role located in Saint Helena, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
