Job Summary
Direct-care responsibilities for patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring safety and therapeutic milieu; assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug, and alcohol patients; advocate for vulnerable patients; provide parent/family counseling and Family Systems interventions; follow guidelines for patients on special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL); provide accurate shift-to-shift reports and remain on unit during handoff; respond quickly in emergencies; maintain professional boundaries; complete and file required documentation in a timely manner; CPI training within 30 days of hire; operate within an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system; collaborate with health-care team and families; participate in documentation and patient care activities as part of a mass general brigham patient-care team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Nursing Assistant (LNA) - New Hampshire preferred
