Mental Health Technician - (MHT) - Unit #2 Nights - 7 on / 7 off

Mental Health Technician in Unit #2 (Nights, 7 on/7 off) provides patient care and clerical support for child/adolescent behavioral health patients, maintains therapeutic milieu, facilitates communication among staff, and helps ensure patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include obtaining initial patient information and vital signs, assisting with unit orientation, documenting observations on charts, supporting patient groups and activities, responding to changes in patient condition, following crisis-intervention procedures (Code Green), and assisting with transfers, discharge notes, and routine nursing tasks. Requires high school diploma or GED with preferred associate degree or two years of college; strong clinical support skills, confidentiality, and teamwork are essential; experience in hospital or behavioral health settings is preferred.
