Job Summary
Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides continuous patient care and participates in the treatment team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Duties include taking and recording vital signs, observing changes in patient condition, documenting treatment plans and responses, employing crisis intervention techniques, assisting with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, and acting as the patient advocate to uphold rights. Requires CPR/First Aid and CPI training within 90 days. Eligible for sign-on bonus; role may require overtime and flexible hours. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred; or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline.
