Job Summary
MHT provides active patient-care within the treatment team for patients from preschool to geriatrics, under RN direction. Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, communicating updates to the charge nurse, following therapeutic interventions, ensuring alignment with individualized plans of care, and documenting treatment plans and patient responses. Requires CPR and CPI training within 30 days, with shift differential for evening hours in a part-time role. The position emphasizes contribution to the treatment team, adherence to care plans, and flexible scheduling in Worcester, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent preferred
- CNA preferred
- Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline
- CPR certification required
- CPI training required within 30 days of employment
- Experience in psychiatric patient care techniques preferred
- Ability to take and record vital signs
- Ability to document treatment plans and patient responses
- Overtime and flex hours may be required
