Job Summary
Mental Health Technician (MHT) - full-time 7a-3:30p at SUN Behavioral Health in Columbus, OH provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision, ensuring a safe, clean environment and assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and observation. Performs de-escalation and CPI-assisted restraints under policy, participates in treatment team meetings, documents in the EHR, supports safety and quality initiatives, and maintains HIPAA-compliant care for psychiatric patients. Requires a high school diploma/GED, CPR and de-escalation certification, and healthcare experience; preferred CNA background and related coursework.
