Mental Health Technician (MHT) FT 11p-730a

Provides direct and indirect patient care to psychiatric patients under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Performs vital signs, intake/output, observation of behavior and mental status, assists with restraints under RN direction, documents on EHR, participates in treatment team meetings, conducts 15-minute observation rounds, assists with orientation of new staff, and delivers care such as ADLs, transfers, and meals while adhering to safety and HIPAA requirements. Requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR plus hospital-approved de-escalation certification; prior healthcare experience preferred (CNAs encouraged).
