Job Summary
Mental Health Technician - Inpatient role providing direct patient care in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, crisis intervention, transporting patients to appointments, activating and assisting with therapeutic care in group or one-to-one settings, monitoring safety and milieu, documenting behaviors and patient condition changes, educating patients at admission, and supporting treatment teams. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old; CPR and NCI trainings provided post-hire. Part-time schedule on PM/NOC shifts (24-32 hours per week) with diverse duties to support safety and continuity of care. Located at Brown Deer Main Campus, Brown Deer, WI. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Driver's license preferred
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training within 60 days of hire
- CBRF trainings within 90 days of hire
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screen
