Job Summary
Perform vital services for patient comfort and personal needs while maintaining a therapeutic environment on the acute adult unit. Document patient care, observations, and charting provisions per registered nurse direction, ensuring all actions align with established hospital policies and program documents. Assist in milieu management and function as a member of the treatment team, answering multiple phone systems and retrieving voicemails. Requires a high school graduate with two or more years of post-high school education in behavioral health, psychology, sociology, nursing, or related fields. Works under registered nurse supervision with a preference for a bachelor's degree and six months of behavioral health experience.
