Job Summary
Provide delegated nursing care to adult, geriatric, and medical-psychiatric patients within guidelines set by physicians and clinical staff; assist with activities of daily living (ADL) such as oral care and meals; participate in therapeutic milieu activities; support quality care standards and patient safety goals per JCAHO requirements; adapt care to diverse patient populations; maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory and organizational policies; required BLS certification and CPI training within the first month; CNA certification is preferred; flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule including weekends and holidays; strong communication and teamwork skills in a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- American Heart Association Health Care Provider (BLS)
- Complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) requirements within first month of employment
