Job Summary
Provide day-to-day support for a client in their home environment, managing all aspects of daily life including cleaning, meaningful activities, and mental health support. Monitor the client's physical and mental health, report concerns to senior team members, and follow care plans and risk assessments. Encourage independence, promote dignity, and support medication compliance while updating care records to monitor overall wellbeing. Assist the RMN with crisis support where appropriate and facilitate local community activities. This role is available on day and night posts for female staff with at least two years of mental health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Female staff members only
- At least 2 years experience within mental health settings
- An understanding of the MHA and legal frameworks
- Experience of working with Multi agencies
- Experience of working with clients with complex trauma, physical health
- Willing to undertake company training specific for this client
- The ability to document to high standards
- Be resilient and pro active
- Have the ability to empower the service user
- Kind, caring and compassionate
- Candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure
Desired Qualifications
- Desired for staff members to have experience of supporting a complex dual diagnosis namely, Eating Disorder and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)
- Vast experience of supporting clients in home environment type setting that present with complex mental health and physical health needs
