Job Summary
Mental Health Support Specialist Master Level at NYAP in Matteson, IL. Provides front-end mental health assessments and timely evaluation to help determine the correct service venue; serves as the primary clinical contact with referral sources at assigned hospitals and community venues; delivers clinical services with confidentiality; screens referrals, determines severity and needed services; supports care team and hospital staff relationships; conducts comprehensive front-end assessments and DSM-based diagnostic awareness; provides individual therapy and connections to follow-up services; maintains documentation and performance tracking; adheres to program goals and organizational values; requires a master’s degree and relevant licensure in social work, counseling, nursing, or related field, plus at least 2 years of mental health experience with adults. - Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
- Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
- Ability to organize data, plan, provide written and very feedback, utilize electronic health systems.
