Job Summary
Direct support role within the Front Porch Mental Health Urgent Care and Crisis Stabilization team, providing immediate, person-centered, trauma-informed crisis support to individuals in emotional distress or crisis. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, orienting to services, safety check-ins, documenting changes in mood and presentation, assisting with basic needs, maintaining a calm therapeutic environment, completing self-reported screenings, accurate EMR documentation, participating in team huddles and care planning, supporting safety plans, and assisting with discharge planning and connections to ongoing services. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields and experience in behavioral health or crisis services. Salary range is hourly and based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive during crisis situations.
- Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet scheduling requirements.
- Ability to complete all required agency background checks.
