Job Summary
Support workers with a mental injury for the first 12 weeks and at periodic points during the life of the claim. Engage early with all stakeholders to identify barriers to recovery and return to work following lodgement of a mental injury claim. Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and support individualised strategies based on best practice solutions to expedite recovery and return to work. Support the Claims Operations Team in gathering information to accept reasonable and necessary treatment in line with the clinical framework. Drive continuous improvement through oversight of mental injury recovery and return to work outcome trends. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends to respond effectively to changes. This role underpins the sustainability and growth of EML Solutions within the Personal Injury Team, fostering a learning culture that invests in long-term career development.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a similar or clinical role
- working in a fast-paced business environment
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapist with Mental Health background)
- Excellent understanding of mental health injuries
- experience working in workers compensation and/or personal injury industries
- Strong complex case management capabilities
