Job Summary

Provides clinical assessment, develops treatment plans, and conducts collateral and discharge planning for adults in a 16-bed crisis residential program. Performs admission screening, diagnostic formulation, and collaborates with social workers, nurses, hospital liaisons, and other partners to ensure appropriate client care. The MHS II role is a clinical treatment team member who also delivers direct care and engages in discharge planning, with duties performed under the Clinical Supervisor though some tasks may be performed independently. The position supports on-the-job training, paid CEU opportunities, and supervision hours for licensure, contributing to professional growth within a diverse, mission-driven mental health environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field
  • MHS II - Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC
  • MHS III - Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
  • Valid CA driver's license
  • Driving record that meets driver eligibility policy
  • First Aid certification (Red Cross or equivalent, or obtain within 90 days of employment)
  • Supervision for AMFT/ACSW/APCC hours (where applicable)
